Accelerated Orthodontics

Accelerated Orthodontics is an option which shortens treatment time by about 50%.  It also miminizes the discomfort sometimes experienced during orthodontic treatment. The science behind the method has been used in the medical world for years and activates biological processes which allows for faster tooth movement and more timely and predictable results.

In addition to wearing braces or the invisalign applicance, one of 2 different devices can be used: Acceledent or Propel.  Dr. Sousa will assess your needs and recommend the most appropriate method. Accelerated Orthodontics can be introduced at anytime during the course of treatment.
