We make every effort to stay on the cutting edge of the technologies we use in our practice. SCO has utilized digital radiology since 2000 and now embraces the latest 3-dimensional technology in our diagnostic process. All of our x-ray needs are provided by Advanced Digital Imaging, which uses the latest volumetric cone beam cat-scan technology (CBCT) to provide superior diagnostic images in a 3-D format. This technology provides for superior images at a lower effective radiation dosage than traditional 2-D imaging. It also provides imagery that can be useful in identifying other issues that are not readily diagnosed with 2-D x-rays such as airway issues, sinus problems, TMJ involvement or other pathology. All our scans are read by board certified Maxillofacial Radiologists for a complete and thorough evaluation. As a result we are able to make necessary referrals to outside practitioners - both dental and medical - and make the patient's scan and radiology report available as needed.

We are proud of our commitment to technology. From our automated voice system for appointment confirmations to the state-of-the-art computer network to track treatment progress, appointments and financial information, advanced technology is a major tool SCO uses to achieve our goal of being the best in all we do.
